Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and/or School Psychology
- Approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
- 750 hour internship in School Psychology
Role Overview:
A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success. The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.
Job Details:
- Dates: ASAP-June 3rd, 2026
- Schedule: We have openings for Full-Time .1 FTE, Part-Time .5 FTE, and very part time .25 FTE
- Travel between different schools close in proximity is a possibility
- In-person only
- Openings in Lansing, Windemere, Waverly, Holly Park, Mason
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team and assists in the comprehensive assessment of students suspected of having a disability as outlined in the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education.
- Collaborate with local district administrators and school-based leadership teams on MTSS activities. This includes participation in problem-solving teams and requires knowledge of data collection and analysis, curriculum-based assessments and tiered systems of interventions.
- Support staff in identifying and using researched-based instructional practices.
