Registered Nurse – First Surgical Assistant
Location: Beverly, MA
Shift: Day Shift (8 hrs) | 7:00 AM start
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Operating Room RN required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency as an RN First Assistant.
• Skilled in hemostasis techniques, suturing, retracting, and other first assist duties.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
• In-depth knowledge of specialty service practices, protocols, and standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing care in compliance with hospital policies, Massachusetts state regulations, and ANA standards of practice.
2. Serve as a role model by adhering to established standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (DPH, Joint Commission, Fire Code, AORN, OSHA, DEA, etc.).
3. Collaborate effectively within the surgical team and demonstrate hospital CREATE values.
4. Maintain a professional, courteous, and supportive approach in all interactions with patients, families, and staff.
