Travelers must be flexible - Weekends are Saturday & Sunday for both shifts • Holidays: 1 major & 1 minor • Scrub Color: Navy Blue, Black, or Charcoal grey. • Travelers do not get to do self-scheduling. Schedules will be based on the needs of the unit. No block scheduling • Floating - As needed- First to Float • Common diagnosis / Types of patients "Open hearts, CHF, COPD, OD, Sepsis, CVAs w/ TPA, DKA, some Neuro (no ICP yet), TeleStroke program (see ER notes for description about this) • Adults & patients under the age of 8 will be admitted to the ICU. Peds over 8 years of age will be in the PCU or MedSurg, unless they require ICU level of care or need to be transferred out." • Additional Notes: Nurses are required to have PALS; however, if candidates don't have peds experience this is okay, but peds experience is highly preferred.
