Description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Plano, TX
*New graduates will only be considered if they had SNF experience during their clinical rotations.

Job description:

Screen, evaluate, and treat patients following physician referrals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments
Supervise and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Technicians
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
Participate in care coordination meetings and patient discharge planning
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety measures
Ensure compliance with all relevant state regulations and professional standards
Travel between facilities may be required

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Texas
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to supervise support staff and manage caseloads
Must meet all local health regulations, including passing a drug test and physical exam
Ability to perform physical tasks, including transferring patients (up to 250 lbs)
Willingness to travel between treatment locations as needed
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
