Description
Position: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Boston, MA
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift (8-hour shifts), 8:00 a.m. start; Monday–Friday (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.); may be asked to work one weekend day every few weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Apply radiation protection principles to minimize patient exposure.
- Observe universal precautions and hospital safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure optimal care.
- Demonstrate teamwork, customer service, and the ability to work independently.
Specialized Experience:
- OR imaging, including C-arm and portable imaging
- Digital imaging
- EPIC experience
- Orthopedic imaging
- Work primarily with adult and elderly patients
Requirements
- Preferred: 2 years of full-time Radiologic Technologist experience
- Experience with OR Imaging and Diagnostic Imaging
- Hospital or surgical center experience
- Valid ARRT registration and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
- Familiarity with Konica Minolta, Philips, and GE mobile units
