Description
Maine Medical Center, the state’s largest and most respected hospital, is seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Med/Surg Neuro to join its dynamic care team in Portland, Maine. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a high-acuity, tertiary care setting known for clinical excellence, advanced cardiac services, and a collaborative nursing culture.

SHIFT PREFERENCE:
DAYS: 7 AM - 7:30 PM; MID: 2 PM - 11:30 PM; NIGHTS: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Maine or Compact License
- Active BLS & ACLS (AHA Required)
- Minimum (1) year of acute care experience
- Must have strong surgical nursing experience, preferably with cardiothoracic patients
Preferred Experience:.
- Cardiac surgery (CABG/valve replacement/post aortic dissection repair), thoracic surgery (VATS, wedge resection, lobectomy), comfort with chest tubes, temporary epicardial pacemakers. Post-TAVR patient.
Float Requirements:
- To other Med/Surg units as needed.
