Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Medford, OR
Location: Medford, Oregon (Asante Health)
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (1845–0715)
Salary: $36.79 – $64.97/hr (based on experience and RCP level)
Relocation Bonus: Eligible (determined at offer)
About the Role:
We’re hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Asante Health in Medford, OR. This is a direct hire position offering competitive pay and a supportive environment. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care, and the emergency room
- Perform breathing treatments and secretion mobilization
- Manage non-invasive and invasive ventilation
- Assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubation
- Draw and analyze blood gases
- Obtain EKGs
Equipment You’ll Use:
- Ventilators: Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100B HFOV, VentiPac transport ventilator
- Non-invasive ventilators: V60, Vision
- IPV, Capnostream 20 ETCO2 monitor
- OmniCell medication dispenser
- EPIC EMR system
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon RRT license or eligible to obtain
- Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year respiratory care experience preferred; new grads considered
- Strong skills in ventilator management, blood gas analysis, and emergency respiratory care
Additional Information:
- 12-hour shifts; night shift (3rd shift) available
- May be required to float to other hospital units and Ashland location as needed
- Approximate patient load: 12–14 treatments per 4-hour round or managing 4–5 ventilators
- Dress code: Scrubs; no facial piercings other than ears; tattoos must be covered
Compensation:
- RCP 1: $36.79 – $55.20/hr
- RCP 2: $39.91 – $59.88/hr
- RCP 3: $43.31 – $64.97/hr
