Description
Job Title: Mammography Technician / Mammography Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA 30308
Shift: 8-hour Days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) 40 per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Local Candidate Rule: No locals within 50 miles
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Mammography
Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT – Mammography
Systems Experience: Cerner, GE PACS, STAR Financials
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging procedures with accuracy and compassion, following safety and ACR standards.
- Support additional imaging services as needed (MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Breast procedures, arthrograms).
- Ensure proper patient positioning, technique, and image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary team members.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records using Cerner and GE PACS.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
