Number Of Weeks: 13
Shift Times: Nights 3x12 6:00–6:30 PM Block schedule only with every other weekend required
Shift Options: 36 hours or 36/48 hour rotation
Schedule Policy: Must be able to fill block shifts; no alterations permitted
Unit Description 72 beds.
Facility Overview: Type: Acute Psychiatric Facility Units: 5 Bed Count: 72 Patient Population: Adults and pediatrics
Our patient population includes both voluntary and involuntary individuals, ranging from children (as young as 5) to geriatric adults.
Security: No onsite security; occasional incarcerated individuals
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:12 (consistent across day and night shifts)
Support Staff: Nurses, Behavioral Health Associates (BHAs), House Supervisors (always onsite)
Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct psychiatric and acute care experience
Certifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – provided onsite😊
Background Check: State of Wisconsin Caregiver background check (wet signature required) must complete onsite prior to starting
Travel Experience: Not required
Orientation: Details to be provided / typically 2-5 shifts until HCP is comfortable
Dress Code: Solid-colored scrubs (maroon, grey, navy blue, or black)
Parking: Onsite Visitor Policy: Limited to specific evening hours
Restraints: Physical restraints only
