Patient Ratios

• 1:5–6

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years MS/Tele experience
• First-time travelers: Accepted

Schedule Requirements

Shift & Weekends

• Days (exact hours not provided)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

On-Call

• No on-call required

Block Scheduling

• Not guaranteed; subject to facility discretion

Floating

• Traveler must float within scope between like units as needed

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Licensure & Local Rules

• Pending license: Not accepted
• Locals: Not accepted
  • 50-mile radius rule from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center

RTO (Time Off)

• RTO subject to manager discretion
• Must be submitted with profile (if applicable)

Guaranteed Hours

• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment
• After that, all contracted hours are fully guaranteed

Special Requirements & Policies

• Return Staff Policy: Must be gone 1 year before returning as a traveler
• System Contract Limit:
  • Two-contract maximum (initial + 1 extension)
  • Must be gone 6 months before returning
• Interview Availability: Must be provided at submission
