Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography RN This position provides comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, medication administration, monitoring during the procedure, documentation, post-procedure care, patient education, and assisting in the cath lab. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care (35%) – Perform nursing care for catheterization/angiography patients, including pre- and post-procedure assessment, monitoring, and education. Equipment & Support (35%) – Operate and monitor cardiac equipment (hemodynamics, pacemakers/ICDs, intra-aortic balloon pumps), transfer patients safely, stock supplies, and assist with basic administrative tasks. Procedure Assistance (15%) – Scrub in and assist the physician during procedures. Documentation (15%) – Accurately record all relevant patient information on appropriate data sheets.
