Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Social Worker in Carpentersville, IL.
 
PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We're currently seeking a dedicated School Social Worker ($52-$55 hr) to support our elementary school in the Carpentersville, IL area for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• PEL or Professional Educator's License with the social work endorsement
• FBA/BIP experience needed
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required

Role Overview:
As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:   

• Dates:   Start October 20th or sooner and work through the SY 25-26
• Hours:   7:30-3:00 daily....7.5 hours (with a 30-min unpaid lunch)
• Setting:  Elementary School (K-5th grade)
• Caseload:  small and manageable
• In-person only
• Note that there are two other SW's in the building

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide individual and group social work services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
