Description

Title: Cath Lab/Endovascular Tech (Dual Modality),
Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist.
Facility: Monument Health Rapid City Hospital
Location: 353 Fairmont Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57701
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift - 06:00 AM to 03:30 PM - 4x10
Target start date: ASAP
 

Skills required:
Experience with endovascular procedures with cardiothoracic surgeons required
Experience performing these cases in Hybrid OR setting required.
 

Travel rates:
40 hours per week (More than 100 miles from the facility)
$81/hour (40 Regular hours) $3,240
Meal Allowance: $74/day ($518/week)
Lodging Reimbursement: $110/day ($770/week)
$4,528 gross per week

Unit Information:
Beds:
1 room; in May or April there will be a brand-new room that will be a hybrid cath lab/OR
Likely 1-2 cases per day


Minimum Years of Experience required?
Minimum of 2 years in procedure area

TAMBE - thoracoabdominal branch endoprosthesis
TCAR - transcarotid arterial revascularization
TEVAR - thoracic endovascular aortic repair
TAVR - transcatheter aortic valve repair
TMVR - transcatheter mitral valve repair
AIFF - aortoiliac femoral femoral angiogram
Femoral bypass

Required Certifications Tech: RT or equivalent OR RCIS is required, BLS, ACLS Support within the Department: Charge nurse available in the Cath lab Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Siemens and Philips X-ray and hemodynamic systems Floating: If yes, where? Float to assist within the Cath lab for peripheral and structural procedures Orientation (facility and unit): New Employee Orientation 4 x 10hr shifts for the first week with a preceptor Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Flexibility needed. Likely working every other or every third weekend. On call? If so, what is that schedule? On-call is 24-hour coverage Likely on-call every other to every third night (1-2 times per week) Holiday Expectations: Likely to work every other holiday RTO: Managers approval Shift times: 0600-1630 Schedule cycle: comes out every 4 weeks Other notes: Scrub Color: scrubs provided Parking: Free Unit Culture: Flexibility and willingness to learn
