• REQUIRED Certs: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS

Skills REQUIRED: 

• Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry.

PREFERRED Skills:

• PREFERRED skills: Perform EKG lead placement
• PREFERRED Certs: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med Experience

JOB DETAILS:

• Shift: 8 HR DAYS; 07:30 - 16:00
• 40 hours/week, 13-20 weeks of contract
• Call Requirement: Weekday call: 16:00-07:30; Twice a week for 2 weeks in a month. Weekend Call: Friday 16:00-Monday 7:30; 1 weekend call a month.
  *No call the week after weekend call.
• Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
• Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.
• Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN.
• Float Requirement: NONE.
• Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend.
• PATIENT AGE GROUP: Adults and Geriatrics
• PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Vice Implants: PPM, ICD
• SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 80%-10% split with IR being the 80%, 10% being other procedure types.
• Assist the provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures.
• Medication administration performed by RN only.
• SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella
