Description

Outpatient setting working with Seniors

  • Maternity leave
    • Could go contract to hire as one of their OTs is considering going PRN
    • Also have several centers nearby so if they are a good fit, they will work hard to find a place for them at another center
  • Most of the work will be evaluations and treatments
  • Outpatient environment
  • Full staff outside of this need
    • 2 OT currently (plus this contractor)
    • 3 PT
    • 2 PTA
    • 1 COTA
    • 2 SLP
  • Primarily outpatient
    • 750 participants at this facility
    • 6-8 patients per day
    • No time limits on sessions (normally 30-60 minutes but allow to go longer as needed)
    • 1:1 treatment
  • Productivity expectations not as high as a SNF
    • Foster a strong connection with therapists and participants
    • Participants are choosing to come there. They want to be there. Happier/more excited to work with.
  • Beautiful facility/huge gym
