Description

Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Shifts: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

🌟 About the Role

As a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, you'll perform a range of cardiac ultrasound procedures including:

🌀 Transthoracic echocardiograms
🏃 Stress echocardiograms
🧠 Support for transesophageal echocardiograms

You'll be responsible for:

📝 Preparing preliminary interpretation reports
💳 Managing billing workflows
📤 Transmitting studies and supporting satellite locations

This role requires advanced knowledge of pediatric echocardiography and a high level of clinical performance and competency.

🩺 What You'll Do

🧪 Perform echocardiograms aligned with lab protocols and daily volume goals
🚨 Respond promptly to urgent exam requests
📋 Follow departmental workflows for reporting, billing, and daily operations
🛏️ Ensure patient care is delivered in a clean, safe, and secure environment
🤝 Provide compassionate care to patients and families
🔐 Maintain confidentiality in all hospital interactions, in compliance with HIPAA
👶 Deliver developmentally and age-appropriate care across pediatric populations

🎓 Qualifications

🎓 High School Diploma or GED
👶 Minimum 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience
📡 Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and system instrumentation
❤️ In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
🫁 Expertise in transthoracic echocardiography
💻 Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and digital reporting platforms
