Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Facility: Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

30 hours per week guaranteed (firm; no increases)
Must have own transportation (rural area, no public transport)
Prepare and assist in operating room setup for scheduled procedures
Verify supplies, instruments, equipment, and implants pre-operatively
Open and dispense sterile items safely and accurately
Assess patient needs related to history, procedure, positioning, and length of surgery
Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with scrub person
Accurate charge capture for OR items used
Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed
Non-billable orientation: 8 hours

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years current Operating Room experience
Scrub and circulating experience (skills checklist required)
Orthopedic and neurosurgery experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience required
Must have own vehicle
Permanent address must be included in profile
All scheduling and time off requests must be made at submission; no changes after offer
