Description
Duties:
Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Job Summary:
-Responsibilities to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart.
-Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.
-Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.
-Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance with PHS, Local and Federal regulations.
Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
-One plus (1)+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring and recording duties.
-Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast paced environment.
-Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP, procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties.
Education:
Required Education:
-Associates Degree in one of the following: Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program; Radiology; Respiratory therapy; Paramedic program; Surgical Technology.
OR
-Four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-RCIS or RCES.
-BLS.
-ACLS.
-PALS is only required at Presbyterian Downtown.
