Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our client's healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients and their families across all campuses.

Duties

Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Perform nursing procedures such as gastric lavage, airway management, and critical care interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to perform essential nursing tasks efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach.
