Key Responsibilities

👩‍⚕️ Leadership & Operations

• Provide leadership and management for the oncology unit, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, and resource allocation to meet clinical and business goals.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

🤝 Collaboration & Communication

• Build strong partnerships with physicians, staff, and patients to promote seamless, relationship-based care.
• Engage in shared governance and empower staff to contribute to decision-making processes.
• Resolve conflicts proactively and maintain a positive, motivating work environment.

📈 Professional & Organizational Development

• Mentor and coach nursing leaders and staff to advance their skills and professional growth.

🔬 Evidence-Based Practice

• Promote nursing research, evidence-based practice, and continuous performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred (or MSN if Bachelor’s is non-nursing).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive nursing management experience required.
• Licensure: Active RN license (Single State or Compact) in Georgia.
• Certifications: Current BLS certification required.
• Skills:
  • Proven leadership, communication, and change management abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare operations.
  • Skilled in systems thinking, team collaboration, and risk management.
