Description
13-week assignment.
12-hour shift / 36 hours per week.
Shift time is 0530-1800.
Must have a current WA License, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP.
Needing a candidate with strong OB experience.
We are located close to the PNW beaches and the Olympic National Forrest.
Registered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable to: Cardiopulmonary Director. In the absence of the Director, is responsible to the Lead RRT. Once oriented, the RRT is expected to function with a minimum of supervision.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Current Washington State license, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Will maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certification
- Will practice within the scope of practice of a RCP.
- Prefer one year of current acute care experience; but may be a new graduate
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
- Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head
- Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed
- Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
- Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures
- Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures
- Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department
