Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 16

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : tech for unit

· Type of equipment : GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense, drager vents

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend

· Floating policy: In rotation with full time staff and other travelers

· Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, completion of communication board, medication teaching

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: Trauma III

Must have: positive attitude, teamwork, problem solving Advanced skills needed: ventilator/sedation management, medication titration Procedures performed on unit: trach placement, bronchoscopy, cardioversion Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
