Position: ICU RN (Critical Care – 2nd Floor ICU) Location: Grafton, WI – Level III Trauma Center | Level II NICU | Primary Stroke Center Facility Size: 136 beds | ICU: 17 beds Shift Options: Days: 07:00–19:30 Nights: 19:30–07:00 Every other weekend | No on-call | 1-day orientation Experience: 3+ years ICU experience required CRRT (NxStage) experience preferred First-time travelers accepted (with 3 yrs ICU exp) Patient Types: Medical: COVID, sepsis, ETOH, OD, delirium, stroke (TPA), ARF Surgical: general, ortho, ENT, OBGYN Cardiac/Vascular: CABG, valve, post-cath, AAA, amputations Excludes: complex neuro/post-TNK Ratios: RN: 1:2 (acuity-based) CNA: 1:8 days | 1:17 nights Certifications: Required: BLS, ACLS Preferred: NIHSS Required Skills: Vent/trach management, invasive lines (A-line, CVP, Swann), drains, chest tubes, post-surgical recovery, fresh heart (preferred), CRRT, balloon pump. Floating: To Intermediate (1:3), MSU, ED boarding (1:4), Observation (1:4) — travelers float first. Support Staff: 24/7 Intensivist & RT, Charge RN (occasional assignment), ICU Pharmacist (days), Phlebotomy, Educator, Unit Secretary (days). Charting & Equipment: Epic, Alaris, Pyxis Other Info: COVID vaccine required Scrubs: any color (no camo/denim/hoodies) Free parking More than 2 sick calls may result in contract review
