Job Overview

• Proactive RN in an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, individualized patient care.
• Practices are aligned with Wellstar's Professional Practice Model, Shared Governance, and evidence-based standards.
• Upholds nursing standards per Georgia regulations and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

Core Responsibilities

• Completes the full Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers patient-centered care reflecting understanding of diverse backgrounds and adapting care accordingly.
• Collaborates closely with patients, families, and the care team for goal-focused planning and updates.
• Demonstrates teamwork, ensures documentation and communication, and promotes an inclusive environment.
• Participates actively in performance improvement, research, and shared governance.
• Completes required education and competency assessments, and serves as a preceptor/mentor to peers and students.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in evaluating and improving patient care products and protocols.
• Efficiently plans care across the continuum, supports best practice outcomes, and optimizes resources.

Key Requirements

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Licensure: RN license (GA single state or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification (or Instructor)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years RN experience preferred, with direct patient care experience required
• Skills: English proficiency, basic computer skills, strong collaboration and customer service, excellent time management, evidence-based and critical thinking abilities, capable in fast-paced and emergency situations
