Registered Nurse – Cath Lab Shift: Days – 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:00) Assignment Length: 13 or 26 Weeks (Clinician’s Choice) Start Date: ASAP Location: [Facility Name], Alaska Position Summary: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. The RN will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac interventions, monitor patient response, and ensure the highest standards of care in collaboration with physicians and the interventional team. This role requires strong critical thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, procedural environment. Requirements: Licensure & Certifications: Active Alaska RN License (required for auto offer) BLS and ACLS (required) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience First-time travelers accepted Skills: Competency per unit description (UD) Must be comfortable floating within scope to EP or IR as needed Schedule Details: Shift: 4x10-hour Days (07:00–17:00) On-Call: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 – Monday 0730) Weekend Requirement: On-call and approximately 1 scheduled Saturday per month Block Scheduling: Not available Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off 1 shift per pay period) RTO Policy: Limited – 1 time-off request per 13-week contract Facility Information: Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital Designations: Magnet Designation | Level II Trauma Center | USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska Total Staffed Beds: 407 Charting System: Epic Scrub Color: Provided by facility Parking: Free ✅ Locals: Not accepted (must reside 50+ miles from facility) ✅ Pending License: Accepted (license required for auto offer)
