Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / ER Float
Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Alt Shift: Day – 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks | 36 Hours per Week

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a rural hospital setting. This role requires strong critical thinking, adaptability, and confidence in handling a wide range of patient conditions with minimal supervision.
Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are mandatory for this unit and all RN assignments.
Schedule & Expectations:
Variable 12-hour shifts: 07:00–19:30 and 19:00–07:30
Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
Float to Park Falls as needed (required)
No first-time travelers accepted
Two nurses on night shift – must be a strong, confident clinician capable of caring for any patient type
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
Licensure: Active RN license (state or compact as applicable)
Certifications (Required):
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS
PALS
Preferred Certifications:
NRP
TNCC
