Description

Title- RN Case Manager 
Facility name-  Kern Medical
Location- 1700 Mount Vernon Ave Bakersfield, CA 93306
Shift-  Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay Term- Weekly (By Every Friday)
Benefits: Paid orientation & sick leave (13)

W2-$48/hr

Job Description:

 

Qualifications

  • Required License: Active California RN license.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience (ICU, ED, or Med/Surg preferred).
    • At least 1 year of Utilization Review and/or Discharge Planning experience in an acute hospital or clinic setting.
    • Preferred: Prior experience with California facilities (more than one assignment ideal).
    • Bonus: Experience in trauma or teaching hospital settings.
  • Certifications:
    • Current AHA BLS (or ability to obtain within 60 days).

Position Overview

Kern Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager – Utilization Review to join the Case Management department for a 13-week assignment. This role is ideal for an RN with strong clinical assessment skills and experience in both Utilization Review and Care Coordination/Discharge Planning in an acute care setting.
