Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Float Pool position covering ICU and Med/Surg units. This role requires a nurse comfortable floating across multiple units and providing high-quality patient care in critical care settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in ICU and Med/Surg units, including ventilated and critically ill patients
• Float to other units as needed to ensure safe staffing and patient coverage
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage cardiac and ventilator support
• Assist with complex procedures including central line and arterial line management, chest tube care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Participate in rapid response teams for emergent situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation in MediTech Expanse EMR
• Promote infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; previous travel experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; NIH and TNCC preferred
• Skills: IV therapy, ventilator management, care of critically ill patients, arterial/central line management
• Licensure: State or compact RN license in hand
• Comfortable floating between units and sister facility as needed
• Available for every other weekend coverage

Schedule & Time Off:

• Night shifts: 4x12-hour (18:00 – 06:00)
• RTO: 1 request allowed; no RTO within first 2 weeks; no full calendar weeks
