Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Weekdays, 5x8-hour shifts
• License: Active Hawaii RN license required
• Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years in Infection Control

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse for a community hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infection prevention and control, particularly in operating room and sterile processing settings, along with comprehensive knowledge of infection management across hospital departments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention programs across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal infection control standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and surgical teams to promote best practices in aseptic technique and sterilization.
• Conduct infection surveillance, data analysis, and reporting.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention protocols.

Certifications Required:

• BLS, ACLS (required)
• Additional certifications such as CPI, ENPC, PALS, NIHSS, or related credentials are a plus.
