Telemetry Nurse (2 years)

Description

Position: RN – Cardiac Procedural/Telemetry Unit (CPPU)
Location: Novant Health / New Hanover (NC)
Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years (1st-time travelers accepted)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Skills Required:
- IV start
- Telemetry
- Management of cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Dopamine, non-titrating Nitro)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Central & peripheral line care
- Isolation precautions
Charting System: Epic (preferred)
License: NC or Compact RN (pending OK at submission; must be active at start)
Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
