Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 32 Hours/Week No Guarantee
Weekends and Holidays Required
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team in Ohio. The RRT will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care and therapy services as prescribed by providers, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by the physician or provider order.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patients’ respiratory status and responses to treatment.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen delivery systems.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
• Adhere to all hospital safety, infection control, and patient care standards.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required
• BLS Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care or hospital experience preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications (Prior to Start):

• Ohio RCP License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentials
• BLS Certification (AHA only)

Systems & Applications:

• Epic (Electronic Medical Record)
• Pyxis
• Hospital Network Access

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently throughout the shift.
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to see and hear within normal range (with or without correction).
• Requires manual dexterity to operate medical and office equipment.
• May need to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Potential exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals.
