Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must have:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Invasive Cath Lab Tech
Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications at the time of submission
Required Skills
Cardiac Cath scrub experience
Proficiency with:
Impella, IABP (Aortic Balloon Pump)
Arterial Lines
Laser Lead Extraction
Rotoblator, FFR, IVUS
EKOS, Pacemaker, Medrad
Groin Site Management & Monitoring
Scrub and Pan Table Procedures
Unit Overview
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Beds/Rooms: 3 procedure labs (Cath + EP)
Charting: EPIC
Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis med dispense, Philips telemetry monitoring
Scrubs: Provided by facility
Parking: $47.50/month or $23.75/2 weeks (ample parking available)
Transit: Minutes from CTA Brown Line
Support: Charge nurse (takes assignment), receptionist, and on-call hospitalist/physician
Orientation: 1 day

Cath Lab: Diagnostic & Interventional (LHC/RCH, NSTEMI/STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotoblator, CTOs, Shockwave, Temp Pacers, Peripheral Diagnostics/Interventions, Loop Recorders)
