We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. In this critical role, you will provide specialized care for neonates requiring intensive medical attention.

Contract Highlights:

13 week contract

Start date: ASAP

Pay- Local Rate $60.00 an hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each infant.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Monitor vital signs and perform diagnostic evaluations to detect changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Provide support and education to families regarding their infant's condition and care requirements.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and institutional policies.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively for patient management and data entry.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and safety within the NICU environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in neonatal nursing practices.

Experience

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in a Level II or Level I Trauma Center is preferred, particularly within an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NRP
