We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technician to join our cardiovascular care team. The successful candidate will assist physicians and other clinical staff in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory. They will ensure that the lab environment, equipment, and supplies are prepared and maintained, and that patient safety and comfort are upheld throughout procedures.

Contract Highlights:

13-week contract 

Shift: 7a-3p or 8a-4p/5x8's/40 hours per week

ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac and/or vascular catheterization procedures (e.g., angiography, angioplasty, stent placement).
• Prepare the cath lab room: sterilize equipment, set up instruments, contrast media, and monitor functionality.
• Operate and monitor advanced imaging and cardiovascular diagnostic equipment (such as fluoroscopy machines, hemodynamic monitors). I
• Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures; notify physician of any changes or complications.
• Assist with patient preparation: positioning, prepping insertion site, explaining the procedure as appropriate, and post-procedure care. Interview Questions+1
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedural documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Interview Questions+1
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inventory of cath lab equipment and supplies; ensure compliance with safety and infection-control protocols. 

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or higher) in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Nursing, or a related field. Interview Questions+1
