CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Days

Location: Zanesville, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Days | 36 Hours per Week (Guaranteed)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team in Zanesville, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and maintained.
• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and respond appropriately to intraoperative changes.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia providers, and other members of the CVOR team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience – Required
• Strong understanding of cardiac surgical instrumentation and sterile field management
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
