Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department (ED) team. The RN will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and stabilization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and critical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (NY).
- 1–2 years of Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
NIHSS Certification required
