Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg / Telemetry

Location: Chillicothe, OH
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 3x12 Days | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry team in Chillicothe, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment, managing complex medical cases while monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry systems.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, care plans, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License – Required
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
• ACLS Certification (AHA) – Required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience – Required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Experience working in fast-paced acute care settings
