Position: Med/Surg RN – Nights Facility: Deaconess Illinois Medical Center Location: Marion, IL Department: Med/Surg / Ortho Radius Rule: No local candidates (must live 40+ miles from facility) Contract Details: Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: December 8 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week Shift Information: Schedule: 12-Hour Nights | 19:00 – 07:30 Weekend/Holiday: Every Other Weekend; Holidays as Needed On-Call/Call Back: None Float Requirements: May float to ED/ICU to assist with medical holds only Requirements: Licensure: Active Illinois RN License (no pending or temporary licenses) Certifications: AHA BLS (required) Experience: Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience Charting System: Epic (required) Skills: Confident, independent RN with strong adaptability and teamwork Unit Information: Unit Type: Med/Surg / Ortho Beds: 36 Patient Ratios: Standard: 1:5 with CNA support Primary Care: 1:4 when CNA unavailable or during staffing shortages Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented unit requiring resilience and strong clinical judgment Additional Information: Scrubs: Navy Blue COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required (subject to change) Orientation Week: GSA hours not guaranteed Guaranteed Hours: Set weekly hours except during unit-closure holidays
