Floating: Required to Edmonds and other Swedish campuses as needed
On-Call: Every other weekend (schedule may vary)

Special Procedures:

Breathing treatments
Chest tube setup/care
CPAP/BiPap
RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation)
Trach care
Vent management
Blood/blood product administration
Cardioversion/defibrillation
Cooling/warming blanket
12-lead EKG and telemetry interpretation
Drains and feeding tubes
PICC/Central line management
Port-A-Cath/vascular device access and care
Syringe pumps, triple lumen catheter management

Professional Skills:

Triage experience – Required
Trauma Level II or III experience preferred

Certifications Required:

ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
PALS

Preferred Experience:

Previous charge nurse experience
Prior Epic charting experience
