Description

PediaStaff is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist with school or pediatric experience to work virtually for the spring term, December through March, with a possible option to extend.

Assignment dates: December through Mid March 2026
Needs to apply for Type C w/AK DEED
7 hrs/day, 35 hrs/wk
Rates are based on experience and range from $50-60 per hour

* You'll have a speech assistant on-site to assist you
* Your primary duties would be to handle IEP/ESER paperwork, conduct therapy sessions remotely and communicate with faculty and families

Qualifications:

Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
AK state license or eligible along with DEED application in process
Previous virtual/school experience a plus!

Key Responsibilities: 

Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
