Description
PediaStaff is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist with school or pediatric experience to work virtually for the spring term, December through March, with a possible option to extend.
- Assignment dates: December through Mid March 2026
- Needs to apply for Type C w/AK DEED
- 7 hrs/day, 35 hrs/wk
- Rates are based on experience and range from $50-60 per hour
* You'll have a speech assistant on-site to assist you
* Your primary duties would be to handle IEP/ESER paperwork, conduct therapy sessions remotely and communicate with faculty and families

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- AK state license or eligible along with DEED application in process
- Previous virtual/school experience a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
