Description
MS/Tele Stroke Unit
2 years experience required for this 42-bed Heart Failure / Stroke Unit, dedicated to our patients diagnosed with both neurological and cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure or acute stroke. This area is a 1:6 ratio staffed with a group of highly skilled nurses trained to work with these specific diagnoses. This team takes pride in being experts at managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions with precision and compassion while working alongside the cardiologists and neurologists to ensure we maintain the best practice standards of care for this specific patient population.
12hr days, 48 hours per week, every other weekend and holidays as required.
Must be willing to float to other units and sister facility.
EMR is Meditech
Must have AL or compact license and BLS-AHA.
Time off requests must be included with the initial submission or will not be approved.
13 week contract, high potential for extension.
