Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health
Facility: Denver Springs
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12 (36 hours/week guaranteed)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Description:
Denver Springs, a 96-bed behavioral health hospital, is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join their night shift team. The facility consists of four units serving adolescents (13–17) and adults (18+). The RN will provide acute stabilization care and support for patients with mental wellness, acute psychiatric, and dual diagnosis/substance use conditions.
Unit Details:
- Units: 4 total (Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, Adult Acute, Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD)
- Patient Ratios:
- Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness & Adult Acute: 1:12
- Dual Diagnosis/SUD: 1:10
- Average Length of Stay: 7–10 days
- EHR: HCS
- Supervisor: Michelle Wade-Bennett, CNO
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Strong de-escalation skills
- Willingness to float to all units as needed
Preferred Experience:
- Behavioral health or dual-diagnosis experience
- CIWA and COWS assessment experience
