Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team on a per diem basis. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment providing critical care to patients in emergency situations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Triage incoming patients based on acuity and clinical presentation.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policy.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state of IL.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required .
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-stress situations.
