Description

Full-time/Perm Physical Therapy Assistant

Samaritan Home Health, Watertown, New York.
Shift: MONDAY-FRIDAY, NO WEEKENDS OR MAJOR HOLIDAYS

Requirements:
Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapist Assistant education program.
Successful completion of all Physical Therapist Assistant student internships New York State registration.
New York State certification required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with the varied age groups to which service is provided.

$5,000 Sign on Bonus (2 year work commitment)
Mileage Reimbursement $0.67/mile

Responsibilities:
Under the on-site supervision of Physical Therapist, treats patients, residents, and/or registrants using exercises, Physical Therapy modalities, and training techniques for functional activities.

Documents all treatment appropriately
Assists Physical Therapist with assigned tasks
Active participant in patient treatment plans
