Submission Requirements May only submit to one WVU position at a time (system-wide). Driver’s license address must be 50+ miles from the facility. Former perm staff must be gone 2 years before returning. Former travelers who worked 1 full year must also be gone 2 years. Follow all unit-specific requirements listed in Pulse. Travel teams must be submitted together in one email. Only 2 candidates per opening may be submitted. If full, submissions may be held until spots reopen. All background hits must be disclosed at time of submission. COVID vaccine required: Fully vaccinated = 2-dose Pfizer/Moderna or 1-dose J&J. Medical/Religious exemptions require completed forms submitted ASAP for review. Submission instructions: Break P3 into 3 documents: Resume, References, Skills Checklist. Include copy of ARRT. Minimum 5 years experience (Manager approved minimum: 2 years as of 11/14/2025). Position Summary – MRI Technologist Performs MRI procedures per radiologist protocols for both adult and pediatric patients. Works independently, applying proper MRI techniques and ensuring full magnet safety. Responsible for scanning area, prepping/screening patients, and ensuring safety of all items entering magnet room. Department Details Equipment Used Philips Ingenia 1.5T Medrad Spectris Solaris Injector Omnicell EPIC FUJI PACS Required Skills & Experience 2–5+ years MRI experience (manager-approved minimum: 2 years) Strong understanding of MRI safety and protocols Required Certifications ARRT BLS MR certification Schedule & Unit Information Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM May work alone at times Call: Not listed Floating: None Unit Size: 1 MRI room Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: N/A Dress Code Black scrubs
