Full Time Permanent Mammography Technologist 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography scans using specialized imaging equipment
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning for optimal imaging
• Operate X-ray and related medical imaging equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists to support diagnostic evaluation of mammograms
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all imaging safety protocols, radiation safety standards, and operational guidelines
• Educate patients on the mammography procedure and address questions or concerns
• Support imaging needs in fast-paced settings, including emergency environments

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist
• Proficiency in mammography positioning, scanning techniques, and image evaluation
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to breast imaging
• Familiarity with additional imaging modalities such as CT, PET, and X-ray
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions

Compensation

Salary: $55–$65 per hour
