MRI Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring the highest level of patient care, comfort, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced tasks related to operating high-field MRI systems and associated equipment
• Position patients accurately for MRI scans using immobilization and protective devices as needed
• Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety prior to imaging
• Assist radiologists with MRI-related procedures
• Perform general radiologic procedures when not assigned to MRI duties
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and organize image sequences appropriately
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical and workflow coordination
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Provide training and guidance to newly hired technologists
• Address both the physical and emotional needs of patients undergoing MRI procedures
• Support efficient patient flow and scheduling

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field
• Valid state licensure
• Proven experience as an X-ray and/or MRI technologist
• Ability to lift, move, or assist patients as needed
• Capability to stand for extended periods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered mindset

Compensation

Salary: $42.00–$52.00 per hour
