Cath Lab / IR Technologist – Job Summary Shift: Days – 5x8s (07:30–16:00) Contract Length: 13–20 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Start: Mondays on the unit (Dimensions training completed after start) ❗ RTO Policy: No RTO after booking Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancel + DNR Required Skills / Experience Minimum Experience: 2 years Traveler Experience: Not required Locals: Accepted (rate difference applies) Skills: Scrub Circulate Telemetry IR Experience Required (90% of work is IR) Certifications: ACLS BLS ARRT or RCIS Preferred Skills / Certifications EKG lead placement ARRT Advanced RCES RCIS with Med experience Job Details Shift: 07:30–16:00 (5x8s) Call Requirements: Weekday Call: 16:00–07:30, twice per week for 2 weeks each month Weekend Call: Fri 16:00–Mon 07:30, 1 weekend/month No call the week after a weekend call Urgent/emergent cardiology & interventional radiology cases STEMI callback: 30 minutes IR callback: Based on procedure Call team = 3 staff (including 1 RN) Float: None Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics Common Procedures: Vascular implants (PPM, ICD) IR/vascular/cardiology/EP procedures (80% IR, 20% other) Special Equipment GE MAC Lab Philips iFR/IVUS Canon & GE labs AngioJet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari CSI Atherectomy System Bovie, Plasma Blade RF Ablation Venous Closure Unit SonoSite S2000 US IABP Impella Note: Medication administration is performed by RN only. Additional Details Scheduling: Per unit needs Holiday RTO: Not permitted Orientation: 40–80 hours Scrubs: Provided Interview Requirement Manager must interview before offer Provide candidate’s interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting
