Location: Atlantis, FL (Outpatient Clinic)
Schedule:
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday
- Part-Time: Tuesday–Thursday, ~18–24 hours per week
- Engagement Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-month evaluation period)
- Pay Range: $50–$55/hr (based on experience and credentials)
Position Summary
We’re seeking experienced Cardiac & Vascular Sonographers to join a high-quality outpatient imaging team in Atlantis, FL. The ideal candidates will be dual-certified in both Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound, demonstrating the ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic studies independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies, including:
- Echocardiograms (resting, treadmill stress, pharmacologic stress, contrast, and bubble studies)
- Carotid, arterial, venous, abdominal, renal, iliocaval, and mesenteric duplex studies
- Plethysmography and ankle-brachial index testing
- Provide preliminary interpretations and document findings according to clinical protocols.
- Support vein procedures in the lab (ablations, DGS, etc.) for vascular-focused schedules.
- Maintain quality and consistency of imaging in alignment with IAC and ACR accreditation standards.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and practice staff to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Uphold department standards for accuracy, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
- Assist with maintaining accreditation compliance, training, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- Associate’s Degree in a related field and completion of an accredited cardiac and vascular ultrasound program (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certification:
- Registered through ARDMS (RDCS & RVT) or CCI (RCS & RVS).
- Must hold at least one cardiac and one vascular credential.
- Candidates with one credential must obtain the second within 12 months of hire.
- BLS Certification (current and active).
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience performing both cardiac and vascular studies.
- Prior outpatient or ambulatory clinic experience preferred.
- Must be capable of performing independently with minimal supervision.
