Description
Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
First time travelers accepted
1 Yr Exp, 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred.
NEED ACTIVE WA LIC TO SUBMIT
Must be open to floating to other campuses
Proficiency in diagnostic and screening mammograms.
Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
All techs new to department have 25 exams observed by another tech before working on own
Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Ability to accurately produce high quality diagnostic mammographic images. Ability to perform, in conjunction with the physician staff, related special procedures. Working knowledge of breast anatomy, proper radiographic exposure factors and procedures for mandated quality control activities. Working knowledge of a variety of x-ray equipment and associated applications (specifically mammography and processing units).
Certifications (REQUIRED): BLS, ARRT
Department is open Monday thru Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 430pm.
